Summertime On My Mind

Today was so gorgeous outside I couldn't help but throw on my favourite pieces from Brandy Melville and take a stroll through the park. I've been patiently waiting to bring out these Steve Madden wedges that I purchased a few years ago as they instantly remind me of some of my fondest summertime memories. I don't know about you, but I'm getting pretty tired of these crazy spring allergies and I'm ready to bring out my bathing suits for good! Summertime is most definitely on my mind.

Neon Days & Nights

This Spring I've totally fallen in love with everything neon, leopard & leather all over again. As a self proclaimed 'city' styled girl myself, there is totally something to say for adding a little grunge to any outfit. However, transitioning these trends into the warmer months isn't always easy - especially when having to switch up your look from "a day at the office" to "a night on the town". Putting together two looks, I incorporated these trends without going overboard and made both of them totally suitable for any occasion.

Each summer I definitely splurge on a new pair of sunnies. Although people usually think I'm silly for spending so much money on a pair of often plastic frames, I consider them to be much more of an investment piece (as long as you take care of them, of course). I just ordered these classic Ray Ban's and I can hardly wait for them to arrive! With a splash of Beach by Bobbi Brown, Rachel Zoe sandals and my Zimmermann bikini - who's ready for a day at the beach!?

PS - I adore these Talula knit sweaters from Aritzia, they have always been a personal fave of mine as the perfectly oversized fit looks amazing thrown on with just about anything!

Back in February, my best friend and I went down south to Florida for a girls week away. I have been wanting to post a few pictures from our trip for quite some time now and I finally found the opportunity! We had so much fun soaking up the sun, sipping on sangria and staying as far away from our textbooks as possible. Now that exam season is here I have been counting down the days until I can finally take a moment to relax again!

Whenever I travel to the states, shopping trips to Saks and Target (even though we finally have it in Canada now, yay!) are mandatory. We had so much fun browsing through the aisles, picking up fun bikinis and these adorable heart shaped sunnies. I was so excited when I found my Rebecca Minkoff M.A.C clutch since I have been looking eveeerywhere for the perfect brown leather bag and now I finally have it!
